What does the future of building look like?

previewthe future of building with trabr

Our vision for the future of building begins with one very simple characteristic.

Instead of seeing builders, endlessly, constantly being on their phones talking to people and issuing orders and instructions, they’re not.

It’s not that we don’t encourage communication, just the opposite in fact, but we’re advocating smart communication, not the predictable and tired “but that’s the way I do it” approach.

We’re advocating smart communication that captures, verifies, securely, project-based, mobile-first, cloud-based communication.

The future of building ISN’T builders spending 2.5 hours a day (possibly more) on the phone, as they are now, wasting time and productivity.

The future of building is about optimising processes and outcomes, productivity and profitability, by simply working smarter.

Just because a process is familiar, doesn’t mean it’s right.

Without wishing to sound harsh, Einstein said it best when he stated that “the definition of stupidity is doing the same thing over and over and over again and expecting a different result.”

We all have smartphones, but most of us simply don’t use them in a particularly smart way, and this is nowhere more evident than in the Building sector. Now they can.

For example, from the fast-growing ranks of users of our Apps, we’re seeing builders spend an average of 12 sessions per day in-app and each for an average of 2.5 minutes per session.

Do the maths. That’s saving people two hours a day, EVERY DAY.

Which means that those builders can be hands on (and arguably being a whole lot more productive) for nearly 2 hours more a day than they currently are, EVERY DAY.

That’s a massive free kick and an enormous value add too.

That’s the future of building. Being focused on your clients, your projects, your business, and permitting technology to enable you with everything else. With Trabr, now you can.
